www.brainbox.com.au
Brainbox is a website specifically aimed at IT workers in Australia. It is intended to be a one-stop shop for any information contractors and employees need about succeeding in the Australian market.

Brainbox was started by an IT contractor based in Sydney. Upon returning from working in the UK, he was surprised at how difficult it was to find relevant information for IT workers in Australia. He was operating blind for the first few months and had to talk to agencies and other contractors to get advice about what he should be doing.

There is other info on the net for IT workers in Australia, but it is scattered. It mostly consists of brochure-ware, boring government-sponsored stuff and the odd gem in the general IT press. Brainbox plans to fill that gap in information.
