We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who is a delivery, solution, services and people manager capable of applying their Project Management and Applications experience with-in a leading national Program & Project Management Group.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities :
- Ensuring technology solutions address customer's requirements
- Managing through the entire project life-cycle, whilst delivering within the project's time and budget constraints
- Ensuring the smooth daily operations and service delivery of a team of professional specialists
- Directing and motivating the project team whilst achieving positive working relations with other stakeholders
- Maintaining an awareness of changing business needs, external influences and recognizing potential impact
on project goals
- Achieving contractual commitments related to quality, cost, and schedule
- Facilitating the review of risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation plans
Essential Experience :
- A proven track record in the delivery across multiple software / application development and infrastructure systems integration projects over $3m
- Management of large project teams, including multi-disciplinary IT specialists, off-shore & virtual resources
- Experience in managing complex project relationships, stakeholders and third party vendors
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Computing or IT related subject preferred
- Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince 2) essential with the ability to demonstrate appropriate methodology and project governance
- Ability to travel is essential
